We, the directors, are getting excited for
"Doo Wop Wed Widinghood" Auditions!
Chad and I have directed "Aladdin" and "Willy Wonka" with Upstage in the past, and have come to love the youth and the board. We enjoy helping the youth share their talents and grow to their best potential. We are looking forward to both new and old faces audition
-16 bars of a 50's style song is preferred-
It's the 1950's, and Wise Prince Jason, Strong Prince Justin and Loud Prince Frank all want to woo Red Riding Hood. So the king and queen hire the Fairy Godmother to set three tasks for Little Red. Only the prince who can find the missing girl, defeat the dragon and awaken a castle visitor from her slumber earns the right to woo Wed Widing Hood....that is, Red Riding Hood! Alas, Little Red's couch-potato parents don't want to lose their little girl. How else will they get their cookies delivered to Grandmother? So they hire the evil queen to thwart the Fairy Godmother's contest. Luckily, Little Red Riding Hood's two sisters - Big Green Riding Hood and Medium Purple Riding Hood - help balance out the situation. Complete with the big bad wolf and a sock-hopping '50s score, this adventure is guaranteed to end in happily-ever-after laughter for audiences and performers of all ages!

Just a reminder of Auditions!!! It is time to celebrate Halloween and in exactly one week are "Doo Wop Wed Widing Hood" Auditions! How many of you have told all of your friends and family! Remember to practice your songs and be ready to dance your little hearts out.

We need a few more faces to be in our Live Nativity. Actual Speaking Parts! Nels was thrilled with the tryouts, and loved all the people and voices that were there. Now we need a few more! 
There is only one week before the Auditions for "The Live Nativity" are held. We at Upstage are buzzing with excitement to see who will be trying out. (especially Nels!) This is a wonderful opportunity to show off your talents at such a beautiful time of year. This is a reminder to you! Please be at the Peteetneet at 9am, October 10th.. We are so excited to see you there.
